Harvia Smartfold – The Transformable Bathroom Sauna
Take over extra bathroom space or use the saved space for other rooms and facilities! The new transformable Harvia SmartFold takes up floor space only when it is in use. The folding mechanism is easy to use and a safety device makes sure that the heater will not switch on unintentionally. The sauna is stylish also when folded.
Harvia SmartFold helps sauna bathers in different stages of life. A young family appreciates the extra space needed for everyday life, but also persons with reduced mobility have been considered. The sauna is accessible in a wheelchair when the sauna benches are up, or only the lower bench can be unfolded to avoid climbing. The heating elements in the specially designed heater have been placed as low as possible to enable enjoyable heat also on the lower bench level.

Harvia are introducing an LED light strip that can be used in all their saunas.
The LED light strip (WX440) is a stylish and easy way to provide light in the sauna room. Typically, the light strip is placed in a groove in bench or backrest, but its flexible silicone casing enables more imaginative applications as well. The light diodes are placed so that the light is directed to the narrow edge of the silicone casing. Unlike single LEDs or fiber lighting, Harvia’s light strip gives an even and smooth light. The light strip can even be shortened by cutting.
The delivery includes everything that is needed inside the sauna:
- the LED light strip
- a transformator

The very popular Harvia Cilindro product family has expanded again. The new EE and HEE variants are equipped with an external control panel, this makes it possible To embed the heater into lower benches. Embedding the heater enables designs where the heater has its own natural place – the design no longer has to depend on the location and usability of the controls.

The Harvia Vega Lux is an elegant heater that is easy-to-use. The flock-coated surface brings additional look to the stainless steel outer casing of the heater. The operating switches are placed ergonomically on the upper part and on the side of the heater, which provides easy reach for operation.
The Harvia Vega Lux sauna heater is easy to mount on a separate mounting rack. Because of the symmetrical design, there is no need to change the handedness of the heater – it is simply selected. Electrical connections are made from the side of the heater, which makes installation quick and easy.
The Harvia Vega Lux’s structure also makes it possible to mount the heater low on the sauna wall. This allows the heat to spread evenly throughout the sauna, ensuring that the lower benches also enjoy plenty of heat.
If you have an existing sauna or a planning a new build the Harvia Vega Lux is the perfect choice for an upgrade. With power outputs ranging from 4.5kW to 9kW you’ll be su

What is emissivity?
Emissivity is the ability of an object to emit or absorb energy. Perfect emitters have an emissivity of 1, emitting 100% of incident energy. An object with an emissivity of 0.8 will absorb 80% and reflect 20% of the incident energy. Emissivity may vary with temperature and spectral response (wavelength). The hotter an object is, the more active its molecules are, and the more infrared energy it emits.
As ceramic infrared heaters are smaller than carbon panel heaters, they produce much more heat per square inch of heating surface, therefore providing more valuable infrared heat.
What’s really important is intensity
Far infrared heaters do not differ in the type of infrared they produce but do differ in the amount of infrared that they produce. Infrared heaters are made with different qualities of carbon and ceramic materials and with different manufacturing processes. There are cheaply made, poor performing heaters and there are high q

It’s seems a daunting task but it can be easier than you think to build your own sauna. With some basic carpentry skills, a bit of preparation and a little understanding you can be relaxing in your own home sauna in no time at all.
There are a few important decisions to be made before you begin so that you end up with the sauna that best fits your needs. You can also getpre-cut sauna kits that will take longer to construct but give you a more customisable finished product when finished. If you are really confident you can build the whole sauna from scratch once you’ve selected which wood you require.
The later method is not actually dif

In recent years there has been considerable discussion and concern about the possible hazards of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). Many doctors and medical experts are advising the avoidance of exposure levels of 3mG (Milli-Gauss) or higher. Electromagnetic fields are created when electric current flows, such as using a hair dryer, microwave or cell phone. Your brain even has its own EMF.
Many experts and public officials, as well as the few governments that have made an effort to offer public protection, have adopted the 3mG cut-off point. The EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) has proposed a safety standard of 3mG. Sweden has also set a recommended safety limit of 3mG.
SaunaMed found that standard infrared emitters can emit high levels of EMR and carbon heaters give off much higher levels of Electro Magnetic Radiation. EMR Neutral infrared heaters by SaunaMed give off no EMR, the patent pending technology ensures that you are never exposed to high levels of EMR

Before you go ahead and purchase your FAR Infrared Sauna there’s one important aspect you need to consider, Power.
Many sauna companies fail to explain the differences in the electrical requirements of their saunas; and customers can subsequently find that their homes are not equipped for their new purchase. Here at Aqualine Saunas all our SaunaMed Infrared saunasrun on a standard 240volt (V)/13 amp (A) plug socket but you should still consider your purchase further.
The ordinary wall sockets around your home are normally connected to a ring circuit (also referred to as
